    About PRIDE Font

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. In the United States the last Sunday in June was initially celebrated as "Gay Pride Day," but the actual day was flexible.

I had the idea for this Pride Rainbow inspired typeface thay lends it's semicircular shape to the lower case set, there are no capitals available in this version. I am now totally hooked on creating many more Open Type SVG fonts, I might even revamp a few of my oldest typefaces over the next few months.

Scalable Vector Graphic typefaces contain extra color info, so can sometimes be up to up to 10 times the size of the standard OTF version, so tend to slow down the system fonts folder. I did finally compile an Open-Type SVG version that's compatible with Adobe, Mozilla and Apple by reducing the original color density down to less than 10.

We are now slowly increasing our colored fonts portfolio on ETSY as the foundry moves out of lockdown and into 2021. Until then here's the DEMO of OTF-SVG with 13 glyphs.

The fully populated version: Desktop OTF and OTF-SVG version that is kerned and hinted with numbers and accented characters is available ONLY on my ETSY store @ https://etsy.me/2U4thiL
